Some fonts annoy you. Futuracha is different. It's a font that makes you smile, and it's perfect for your new blog and all of those witty tweets, too! Futuracha is the first monkey-puzzle typeface designed specifically for digital screens. It has been engineered to work on any platform-web, mobile, tablets, apps-and at any size from .5 point to 36 point! The results are sharp corners that are easy on the eyes at small sizes yet retain clarity when blown up to huge proportions. This brilliant font is optimized for readability, it's been tested to work well at any size from .5 to 36 pts. Futuracha has been developed based on the principles of Univers™. In brief, Univers™ is a system of abstract compositions that can be used as source material for digital typefaces. The development process is meant to check the flexibility of a font and verify its usability. Futuracha was developed using a variety of Univers™ solutions and its features were inspired by the great typeface Matt Monotype Rounded, designed by Paul D.'s wife Kris Soule shortly before his death in 2003. The Futuracha is a serif typeface and has rounded corners. It is inspired by the early twentieth century modernism and the Bauhaus movement, as well as post-modernism, and it is very elegant with tridimensional look. The font features 5 weights (thin, light, book, regular and bold) and includes an extensive Latin alphabet (Western European language support), as well as extended language support for Central European & Baltic languages; Romanian; Turkish; Cyrillic; Greek; Chinese Simplified, Japanese & Korean.
